GEORGIE
Georgie is an artist and textile designer working out of her home studio in Ringwood, Melbourne. Her design practice is informed by a lifelong fascination with bringing organic patterns found in nature into the interior space whether that’s in the form of textiles or a painting. Starting her career as a textile designer and now an artist, Georgie has always been drawn to the 60’s and 70’s era of interior design when pattern, colour and textures were wildly used together.
ARTIST
A graceful painter with a striking, maximalist sense of colour and an intricate rich aesthetic. Georgie's paintings infuse a contrasting cultivation of exotic interior scenes full of organic patterns and textures contrasted with her love for elegant plants. She plays with the tension between spontaneous movement of paint and careful consideration of balance and peace.

Taking elements from multiple paintings Georgie creates textile designs that are full of beautiful painterly textures and quirky details. With a background in bed linen design her textile designs are bold and immersive.
